Century 21 Real Estate & U.S. Soccer Sponsorship Bring Together World's Largest Real Estate Franchisor & World's Most Popular Sport

CENTURY 21Agents: SMARTER.BOLDER.FASTER.® to be Featured on World Stage

PR Newswire

MADISON, N.J., June 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Century 21 Real Estate LLC, the franchisor of the world's largest real estate franchise sales organization, announced it has renewed its sponsorship as the official real estate company of U.S. Soccer. The company signed a multiyear renewal of its sponsorship of the U.S. Men's, Women's and Youth National Teams through February, 2016. The partnership allows the CENTURY 21® System, which has 7,000 independently owned and operated offices in 77 countries and territories and more than 102,000 affiliated agents, to place its brand in front of hundreds of millions of futbol fans around the globe.

"Our renewal builds on the movement to connect the iconic brands of U.S. Soccer and CENTURY 21 in a way that makes the global real estate consumer feel a sense of community and pride in the sport they love and the home they watch it in," said Bev Thorne, chief marketing officer, Century 21 Real Estate LLC. "Soccer fans, like our SMARTER. BOLDER. FASTER®. affiliated agents around the world, are multicultural and possess a robust passion for the teams they support."

"CENTURY 21 has been a great partner during the past two years," said U.S. Soccer CEO/Secretary General Dan Flynn. "We are looking forward to continuing that relationship as we enter an especially exciting time for our Men's and Women's National Teams."

The partnership announcement comes on the heels of the U.S. Men's National Team prepares to play its first games in Brazil. The Team is in Group G and will take on Ghana today, followed by Portugal on June 22 and Germany, June 26. CENTURY 21 System commercials will air in-game on the ABC Network and ESPN and on ESPN2 studio programming and commentary before, during and after the matches.

"While real estate is hyper-local, we realize that technology has forever evolved home buying and selling into a global endeavor," added Thorne. "That's a primary reason we introduced to market century21global.com last year. We now have over 300,000 property listings in 36 currencies and 16 languages to allow for a smoother, more efficient continent-to-continent property search process."

The Women's National Team is working towards qualification for the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup in Canada. "When the Women won the 1996 Olympic gold medal, the World Cup in 1999 and the three Olympic Gold medals since then, in 2004, 2008 and 2012, American eyes opened up with increasing frequency to this beautiful sport and millions more are now soccer fans," added Thorne. "We are proud to be at the forefront of U.S. Soccer's growing fan base here in the United States."

As part of the sponsorship, the CENTURY 21 System will begin airing commercials on U.S. Soccer broadcast partners and networks. The "Based on a True Feeling" series of CENTURY 21 commercials depicts how it feels to work with a CENTURY 21 agent. In the spots, clients liken the experience of working with CENTURY 21 agents to feeling like a rock star – with a cameo from 80's hair band, L.A. Guns, being surrounded by puppies and relaxing in a Zen garden.

The "Based on a True Feeling" spots first aired during the Winter Olympics, with Century 21 Real Estate LLC being the official real estate company of the USA Bobsled and Skeleton Federation (USBSF).
