Shareholders of Chemed Corporation (CHE) today elected a slate of 10 directors at the Company’s 2013 annual shareholders’ meeting. Each of the directors continues from the prior term.

Shareholders ratified the continuation of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as the Company’s independent accountants for 2013. In addition, shareholders approved Chemed’s executive compensation.

Dividend Declared

Following the shareholders’ meeting, Chemed’s Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of 18 cents per share on the Company’s capital stock, payable on June 19, 2013, to shareholders of record as of May 30, 2013. This represents the 168th consecutive quarterly dividend paid to shareholders in Chemed’s 42 years as a public company.
