NEW YORK (AP) -- China Cord Blood Corp. said Thursday that it has bought back 2.2 million shares of stock since August.
The company approved the repurchase of $15 million in stock, and said it has spent $6.2 million on its stock buyback since that time.
U.S. shares of China Cord Blood rose a penny to $2.50 in midday trading. They have traded in a range of $1.85 to $3.62 over the past year.
