NEW YORK (AP) -- China Metro-Rural Holdings Ltd declined to comment Thursday on a big jump in its stock price.
The stock rose 58 cents, or 55.2 percent, to end at $1.63 on the New York Stock Exchange. The company said in a news release that the exchange has contacted it on the matter. The company said its policy is not to comment on unusual market activity.
China Metro-Rural describes itself as a development company in China for agricultural logistics and rural-urban migration.
