Columbia Management, the money management firm that acquired a toehold in the active ETF business by acquiring Grail Management’s fund in 2011, changed the names on four of its five ETFs on March 1 to simplify them.
The funds, their old and new names and their assets under management, are:
- Columbia Large-Cap Growth Equity Strategy Fund is now the Columbia Select Large Cap Growth ETF (RWG), $8.26 million
- Columbia Concentrated Large-Cap Value Strategy Fund is now the Columbia Select Large Cap Value ETF (GVT), $3.38 million
- Columbia Intermediate Municipal Bond Strategy Fund is now the Columbia Intermediate Municipal Bond ETF (GMMB), $8.22 million
- Columbia Core Bond Strategy Fund is now the Columbia Core Bond ETF (GMTB), $5.27 million
The changes didn’t involve the Columbia Growth Equity Strategy Fund (RPX), which has $1.64 million.
