• Charter Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ:CHTR) posted a second quarter loss per share of $0.84, breezing past the Zacks Consensus Estimate loss of $0.42 by 42 cents

• Shares of MGM Resorts International (NYSE:MGM) surged 7.5% after it reported a second quarter loss per share of $0.12, lower than the Zacks Consensus Estimate loss of $0.14
