After CONSOL announced that it had agreed to sell its Consolidation Coal Company subsidiary, BMO Capital estimates the deal will lower the company's 2014 EBITDA but raise its NPV by 3%, as stronger growth in its gas business will lower its net debt. The firm keeps a $42 price target and Outperform rating on the stock.
