Containerboard producers get a $50/ton price hike, says Credit Suisse

Credit Suisse said reports indicate that containerboard producers successfully passed through a full $50/ton price increase in September. The firm views this as a significant positive for the industry and raised its price targets on Outperform rated International Paper (IP) to $44 from $40, Rock-Tenn (RKT) to $82 from $73, and Packaging Corp (PKG) to $41 from $36.
