MELVILLE, NY--(Marketwired - June 26, 2014) - CopyTele, Inc. ("CTI") (COPY), a company that protects the rights of inventors through patent monetization and patent assertion, today announced that its Annual Meeting of Stockholders will be held at the law offices of Ellenoff Grossman & Schole LLP, 1345 Avenue of the Americas, 11th Floor, New York, New York 10105 on Friday August 8, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Stockholders of record on June 18, 2014 will be entitled to notice and to vote at the meeting.
We are pleased to be following the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's Notice and Access rules that allow the company to furnish proxy materials to their stockholders using the Internet. These rules permit us to provide our stockholders with the information they need, while lowering the costs of delivery and reducing the environmental impact of our annual meeting.
Beginning on or about June 27, 2014, we will be mailing a Notice of Internet availability to our stockholders, instead of paper copies of our Proxy Statement, Proxy Card and 2013 Annual Report. The Notice will contain instructions on how to access the documents over the Internet, and how stockholders can receive a paper copy of the materials.
CTI will notify our stockholders, once the proxy materials are available. Stockholders will be able to cast their vote over the Internet, through the mail, via telephone or in person. CTI encourages you to vote promptly.
