Credit card rates remained unchanged this week, according to Bankrate's latest survey of interest rates. The average annual percentage rate for variable-rate credit cards stayed steady at 14.58 percent. While nearly a third of consumers plan to cut back on holiday spending this year, 1 in 4 expects to put enough Christmas expenses on credit cards that paying off the bills will take more than three months, according to a new survey from myFICO.com.
