SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Crestbrook Insurance Company, an affluent market personal lines carrier, will begin offering its unique products and services to independent agents and their clients in California on March 27. After a successful debut in Illinois last October, the Nationwide Insurance subsidiary will continue its aggressive rollout schedule with Washington, Arizona, Oregon and Ohio closely following the California launch.
“We are pleased to offer the Crestbrook portfolio to our new agency partners and they are eager to begin writing Crestbrook business so that they may better serve the needs of the affluent market,” said President Jim Pedersen. “By being a total account carrier and providing clients a concierge-style service, our goal is to build long-term relationships with our appointed agents. We talk about defining our success in terms of the relationships we build and the trust we earn.”
The affluent personal lines market continues to see consistent growth within the United States and currently represents a $60 billion share of the property casualty industry, according to Pedersen. Crestbrook designed its products and services for those with a primary residence valued from $750,000-$5 million and aims to support the balance of their needs – including auto, collections, personal excess liability, secondary residences and additional exposures.
“Crestbrook sets a new standard in coverage by delivering an exceptional product line and service experience to affluent clients,” said Distribution, Sales & Marketing Executive Molly Rondeau. “This resonates well with independent agents, as we have already received terrific feedback on our offerings and technology. In particular, our state of the art policy administration system allows agents to rate, quote and issue a policy in real time – which supports our overall commitment to ease of doing business.”
The company offers high franchise value to its appointed independent agents, by adhering to a limited distribution strategy. As part of its appointment process, Crestbrook looks for consistent profitable growth, long-term partnerships and a personal lines focus with affluent clients. In California, Crestbrook has appointed nearly 100 of the state’s most influential independent agencies.
Crestbrook’s field footprint continues to expand in preparation for its 2014 launch plans. With offices in Scottsdale, AZ, Rosemont, IL and Sacramento, CA, the company opened its Columbus, OH office in January and its underwriting center in San Diego, CA earlier this month. Crestbrook currently employs more than 75 associates across the country, with localized claims, sales and underwriting professionals in targeted geographic regions.
