ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwire -05/23/12)- Four! Is that the number or golf? Maybe it's both.
At this week's Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial, the entire PGA TOUR field will work even harder to shoot low scores. Players will show their support for the Crowne Plaza Hotels and Resorts "Charity Foursome," benefiting four charities -- Birdies for the Brave; Shelter in a Storm; Cook Children's Medical Center; and the First Tee of Fort Worth, Texas.
"Each golf pairing this weekend at the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial will play for one of four charities," says PGA TOUR rising star Rickie Fowler. "Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts will donate $100 for each birdie and $500 for every eagle made to each pairing's designated charity, up to $50,000."
You don't have to be a PGA TOUR player to take part. Visit Facebook.com/CrownePlaza and select to which of the four charities you would like Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts to donate an additional dollar on your behalf, up to $10,000, making the total donation up to $60,000 for the Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts "Charity Foursome" program. Participating fans will automatically be entered for a chance to win a golf weekend getaway.
