CSW Industrials, Inc. (NASDAQ: CSWI) revealed that Gregg Branning was appointed as its EVP and CFO effective June 9, 2016. According to the company, Branning joined it on May 9 in a consulting capacity to gain familiarity with the Company and ensure a smooth transition.

CSW Industrials said Branning was most recently SVP and CFO and Corporate Secretary of Myers Industries, Inc. (NYSE: MYE), a polymer products manufacturer. Before joining Myers, Branning was with Danaher Corporation for nine years in different financial leadership roles, where he most recently served as VP of Finance and CFO of Thomson Industries, a Danaher subsidiary.

The company said Branning also spent 13 years with United Technologies' Hamilton Sundstrand in financial roles of increasing responsibility, and seven years in public accounting, including time with Ernst & Young LLP.

The company's chairman and CEO, Joseph Armes, said, "I am excited to welcome Gregg to the CSW Industrials' leadership team.
