PRAGUE (AP) -- The Czech Republic is still waiting to learn if its Polish hotel for the European Championship is safe.
A bacterium that causes Legionnaires' disease was found in the five-star Monopol Hotel in Wroclaw in April.
Czech manager Vladimir Smicer said Tuesday an inspection team at the site was expected to make a decision Saturday, just a day before the Czechs are to travel to Poland.
Smicer said if the hotel was not cleared, the team will confer with European soccer's governing body. He says an option would be to stay in Prague and fly for the three matches in Wroclaw.
The Czechs open the tournament June 8 against Russia then face Greece and Poland in Group A.
