UPDATE: D.A. Davidson Raises PT On Akamai Technologies On Introducing 2016 Estimates
In a report published Tuesday, D.A. Davidson analyst Mark Kelleher reiterated a Buy rating on Akamai Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: AKAM), and raised the price target from $72.00 to $86.00.
In the report, D.A. Davidson noted, “Our overall investment thesis for AKAM remains unchanged. We view the company's technology as significantly differentiated in the market, both on the CDN side of the business and on the security and performance side. The company's ability to deploy capabilities at the edge of the network is one such differentiator. We believe its strong balance sheet and solid cash flow generation also offer it a competitive advantage in the market. We continue to anticipate strong top and bottom line growth throughout 2015 and beyond. We reiterate our BUY recommendation.”
Akamai Technologies closed on Monday at $63.79.
