PHOENIX, AZ --(Marketwired - April 30, 2013) - David and Sam PR formally launched its new brand identity and office location, re-naming the agency to Decibel Blue Creative Marketing & PR. The agency offers advertising, public relations, marketing, interactive and branding services. The firm moved its location to the Gold LEED certified Papago Gateway Center, commonly referred to as the First Solar Building, at 350 W. Washington St., #308, Tempe, AZ 85281 (West Lobby).
Eichler founded the agency in 2005 and purchased his business partner's share last year. He then merged his firm with Tempe-based Alchemy PR and Marketing whose partners, Diane Eichler and Andrea Kalmanovitz, experience includes clients such as Toyota, Oscar de la Renta, Four Seasons Hotel & Resorts, D.R. Horton and Realty Executives International.
"The reason a business retains an advertising and PR agency is to get its message heard in ways others cannot," says Eichler. "When we were looking for a name to help us stand out, we turned to nature. Blue whales are the loudest -- and largest -- animals in the world. Their voices can reach 188 decibels -- louder than a jet engine. And blue has been proven by scientists to stimulate creativity in humans. We help our clients Sound Loud™ through creative marketing and public relations."
Industries that Decibel Blue services clients include real estate, food and beverage, hospitality, health and beauty, retail and QSR to name a few.
Eichler adds, "While most companies have a mission, we have a purpose statement which has been our guiding principle for the past seven years: To foster a work environment that encourages our team to lead fulfilling, balanced lives -- which empowers us to provide exceptional service and creativity to our clients, partners and community."
Notable business leaders like Jim Goodnight of SAS Institute and the former CEO of Herman Miller, Max De Pree, known as the creator of "servant leadership", inspired work-life-balance philosophies that have been integrated into the Decibel Blue culture, according to Eichler. Jim Goodnight is the "grandfather" of living a balanced company culture and its power is reflected in that SAS Institute has one of the highest employee retention rates in America; Eichler says the reason is "because Goodnight takes care of people before profit."
Decibel Blue's new office, called "The Cove", overlooks Tempe Town Lake and is minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, and Scottsdale and downtown Phoenix. The company built out its space from a shell, featuring exposed, high ceilings, an open floor plan, wood floors and even a room dedicated to quiet work and restorative rest. The developer of the building invested a significant sum having a light rail station placed directly in front, as well as installed a custom louver system that rotates with the sun, shading and protecting its façade.
"Through thorough research," comments Eichler, "We designed the space to be most conducive to creativity and collaboration. Incorporating elements of European office design, our 'Cove' is sleek and refined with high ceilings and an open layout."
