NEW YORK (AP) -- Canadian logistics provider Descartes Systems Group Inc. is buying Integrated Export Systems Ltd. and IES Asia Ltd. for about $35 million in cash.
IES provides software that helps freight forwarders, common carriers and customs brokers manage their businesses. The company also offers regulatory compliance services. It has more than 600 customers and offices in New Jersey and Hong Kong.
The deal is expected to close before the end of July, Descartes said on Wednesday.
