Deutsche Boerse settles Iran suit with U.S.


FRANKFURT, Nov 7 (Reuters) - Deutsche Boerse agreed on Thursday to pay $152 million to settle allegations bythe U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) that thecompany's Clearstream unit may have violated U.S. economicsanctions tied to Iran.

The German exchange operator received an offer from theUnited States in October after OFAC closed the investigation.
