In conjunction with the magazine's All-Europe Research Team survey -- in which we asked buy-side analysts and money managers to name Europe's best equity research team in 50 industries, countries/regions and macroeconomic disciplines -- we requested that respondents tell us which firms field the best overall sales forces.
Nearly 1,500 investment professionals at approximately 650 firms that collectively manage some $5 trillion in European equity assets answered our question about Europe's top sales teams -- that's roughly 67 percent of the people who cast votes in the research survey, representing 85 percent of the participating buy-side institutions.
Money managers are enthusiastic in their praise for Deutsche's sales crew.
