Digital Element Earns Accreditation from the Media Rating Council for Its NetAcuity Platform

Technology company is the first provider of IP geolocation data to gain MRC accreditation

Digital Element, the leading provider in geolocation and IP Intelligence solutions, today announced that it has received accreditation from the Media Rating Council (MRC) for the geographic location identifications reported by its NetAcuity® platform. Digital Element is the first company to attain MRC accreditation within the IP geolocation industry.

The MRC is the independent industry organisation whose mission is to ensure valid, reliable and effective audience measurement services. Specifically, MRC accreditation certifies that Digital Element’s geolocation identifications for US data at the Designated Market Area (DMA) level and above adhere to the MRC’s Minimum Standards for Media Ratings Research.

In 2009, Digital Element introduced the only validated, partner-contributed geographic ZIP code and postcode level data, giving marketers reliable and accurate hyperlocal targeting capabilities.
