DigitalGlobe (DGI) confirmed that it has received an unsolicited proposal from GeoEye (GEOY) to acquire the company for $17.00 per share in a combination of cash and stock. DigitalGlobe said its board will review and consider the proposal and pursue the course of action. DigitalGlobe stockholders are advised to take no action at this time pending.
