Discovery mixed, int'l ads up

The media company's Q4 EPS jumped 50.8% to 92 cents, beating views by 3 cents. Revenue rose 28% to $1.53 bil, under views for $1.54 bil. Revenue from its int'l networks rose 65% on a 118% rise in ad revenue. But revenue from U.S. networks rose only 5%. Discovery Communications (DISCA) sees full-year revenue of $6.45 bil-$6.62 bil, well above analyst views for $6.2 bil. The company also announced a $1.5 bil increase to its current share repurchase program. Shares fell 4.3% to 79.30.
