Disney gains marketing rights for future 'Indiana Jones' films


Dec 6 (Reuters) - Walt Disney Co has gainedmarketing and distribution rights for any future "Indiana Jones"films under an agreement with Paramount Pictures, the studiothat released the first four movies in the blockbusterfranchise.

Paramount, a unit of Viacom Inc, will retaindistribution rights to the original four films, the companiessaid in a statement on Friday. The "Indiana Jones" movies wereproduced by LucasFilm, which Disney acquired in 2012.
