RICHMOND, Va. (AP) -- The power company Dominion Resources has purchased six solar development projects in California from Recurrent Energy.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
All of the solar facilities are expected to reach commercial operation later this year or in early 2015.
"This investment is another important step forward for Dominion as we expand our renewable energy portfolio," Chairman and CEO Thomas Farrell said Tuesday.
Recurrent Energy, a developer of utility scale solar projects, will continue to support Dominion Resources Inc. through the completion of the projects.
