Donald Trump is literally urging people to watch Fox News
The Fox News-Donald Trump love-in shows no signs of ending as the President once again urged Twitter users to watch the channel.
Trump’s latest endorsement came after the outlet sent a bizarre tweet saying Trump was “working from the White House” over the weekend.
The “news alert”, which was roundly mocked on Twitter, turned out to be factually inaccurate, after it emerged that Trump twice travelled to the Trump National Golf Club in Virginia on Saturday and Sunday, where he chaired meetings.

Trump headed back to the White House after his Saturday meetings, and later had dinner at Trump International Hotel nearby.
Sunday’s trip marked the president’s 13th visit to a golf course since taking office, according to The Hill.
“News Alert: @POTUS spending weekend working at the White House,” the tweet read.
Fox News is one of the few media outlets to support the controversial business mogul, whose approval ratings are at a historic low for a new president.

Trump’s tweet about Fox News is the second time in the matter of days that the President has promoted the channel. On March 25, he urged Americans to watch Judge Jeanine Pirro’s show, Justice With Judge Jeanine.

During the show, Pirro demanded House Speaker Paul Ryan resign after Trump’s American Health Care Act collapsed spectacularly.

Sean Spicer, the press secretary, was then forced to defend to Trump and answer questions about whether or not he should apologise.
“For what? For supporting a show on Fox? No,” Spicer replied to the questioner. “He’s a fan of the show, plain and simple.”
Today’s tweet pointed readers to a segment about former Hillary Clinton campaign chair John Podesta’s reported ties to an alternative energy firm that attracted a Russian state fund as an investor.
The tweet was designed to divert attention away from the FBI investigation into possible ties between Donald Trump’s campaign and Russian.
On March 20, he accused CNN of promoting “fake news”, noting that Fox has “much higher ratings”. Last week, he retweeted a number of Fox News tweets.
