Dow Chemical to stop trading in Paris, Brussels

Dow Chemical to delist its shares from Paris and Brussels exchanges due to low trading volume

Associated Press

NEW YORK (AP) -- The Dow Chemical Co. said Monday that it plans to delist its common stock from the Euronext Paris Stock Exchange and its depositary receipts from the Euronext Brussels Stock Exchange.

The Midland, Mich.-based chemical company said the delisting is due to low trading volume. The company's primary listing will remain on the New York Stock Exchange.

Dow Chemical shares closed Friday at $29.57, up nearly 3 percent since the start of the year.

Shares were not trading Monday because the stock exchanges were closed because of Hurricane Sandy.
