Dunedin Chiropractor Launches New Website

February 8, 2012

DUNEDIN, FL--(Marketwire -02/08/12)- Dr. Paul Raveling, a Dunedin chiropractor, has launched a new website for the Raveling Chiropractic Center, P.A., which he has run since 1983. According to Dr. Raveling, he hopes the website will provide people with helpful information about a multitude of health topics. The website also provides ways to contact the doctor, fill out new patient forms, and access special log-in features that share access to the doctor's newsletter and exercise videos. The website also has a 3D spine simulator visitors can use to learn about how the alignment of each vertebra affects various systems in the body.

"I'm very excited about the website and hope people will find it helpful," Raveling said. "Naturally, we want to reach out to people about how our Dunedin chiropractic care services can help them overcome back pain, headaches, neck pain, and so on, but we also hope that the website will inspire people to make healthy changes in their lives. It gives our patients a new way to interact with us."

Visitors can find the doctor's health library under the "Community Content" menu on the left panel of each page on the site. Current patients can also sign up to access members-only content under the "Member Wellness" menu further down on the left. This area includes videos that demonstrate proper form for exercises taught by the doctor so that patients can do these safely at home. Members can also access a section with activities for children.

The website also includes several other features that Dr. Raveling said he is excited for visitors to see. The 3D Spine Simulator, which visitors can find on the lower right panel of each page on the site, gives visitors an interactive lesson in how the spine works. The user can click on each bone in the spine, and the models on either side show which nerves and organs are affected by the alignment of that particular vertebra.

The tabs at the top of each page provide visitors access to information specific to the clinic. The "Clinic Announcements" tab details special offers and discounts, while the "Services" tab displays information about the chiropractic care, massage therapy, physical therapy and rehabilitation treatments the doctor provides. The "New Patient" tab provides PDF forms that a patient can fill out at home before their first appointment to save time during their initial visit. Dr. Raveling said this will open up more time during the appointment to visit with the patients personally instead of dealing with paperwork.

Dr. Raveling also said he wants the new website to become a virtual meeting place where he and his patents can discuss health issues.

"We're starting a wellness blog on the site too, and I hope people will feel free to ask questions and post responses there so that we can get some fun community discussion going about how to stay healthy," Raveling said. "Staying healthy should be fun!"
