Dunkin' comes to Vietnam

The operator of Dunkin' Donuts shops said it signed a franchise deal with Vietnam Food and Beverage Co. to build its coffee and doughnut shops in the Ho Chi Minh City area. Dunkin' Brands (DNKN) is joining Starbucks (SBUX) in building shops in the coffee-loving nation. Dunkin' shares fell 0.6% to 35.78. Starbucks will open its 1st shop in the southeast Asian country in Feb. The new coffeehouse will be operated by Maxim Group, a Hong Kong company that runs Starbucks locations in Hong Kong and Macau. Shares rose 0.7% to 56.
