E-commerce satisfaction climbs

Consumers were happier with e-commerce firms in '12, though there's room for improvement from leaders, including Amazon (AMZN) and Netflix (NFLX), according to the American Customer Satisfaction Index report. Satisfaction climbed 1.2% to 81.1 on the 100-point scale. Amazon remained No. 1, but slipped 1 point to 84. No 3 eBay (EBAY) climbed to 83, from 81. No. 6 Netflix rose 1 point to 75, but was still far from its 86 rating in '10. The report was based on a survey of 4,000 customers in Q4.
