Ford Motor Co. rose $.12 or .7 percent, to $16.99.
General Motors Co. fell $.32 or .9 percent, to $35.65.
Honda Motor Co. rose $.16 or .4 percent, to $38.30.
Toyota Motor Corp. fell $.63 or .5 percent, to $127.40.
