Apple Inc. rose $5.77 or 1.3 percent, to $439.03.
Dell Inc. rose $.03 or .2 percent, to $13.43.
Hewlett Packard Co. fell $.01 or percent, to $21.26.
International Business Machines Corp. fell $.28 or .1 percent, to $208.16.
Lexmark International Inc. rose $.34 or 1.1 percent, to $31.46.
