Apple Inc. rose $2.97 or .6 percent, to $479.72.
Dell Inc. rose $.06 or .5 percent, to $13.82.
Hewlett Packard Co. rose $.16 or .7 percent, to $21.15.
International Business Machines Corp. fell $.11 or .1 percent, to $185.07.
Lexmark International Inc. rose $.05 or .2 percent, to $33.05.
