NEW YORK (AP) -- Shares of some top consumer companies are up at 10 a.m.:

Clorox rose $.66 or 1.0 percent, to $69.85.

Colgate-Palmolive Co. rose $.36 or .4 percent, to $99.49.

Kimberly-Clark Corp. rose $.37 or .5 percent, to $79.58.

Procter & Gamble Co. rose $.44 or .7 percent, to $63.01.

    P&G: What happened to a once-great company? Slow and steady was the business plan, pleasing Wall Street buffoons wasn't a priority, their employees were rock-solid, hard-working people that meant something and now the competition is eating their lunch. They've lost almost $5.00 a share just in the last week. Please tell me management has a plan and the board has a clue?
