Caterpillar fell $1.40 or 1.6 percent, to $86.30.

Deere & Co. fell $.32 or .4 percent, to $86.51.

Manitowoc fell $.48 or 2.4 percent, to $19.69.

Terex fell $.73 or 2.2 percent, to $33.12.
