Comcast Corp. rose $.11 or .4 percent, to $29.04.
Walt Disney Co. rose $.19 or .4 percent, to $44.63.
Gannett rose $.10 or .8 percent, to $13.20.
New York Times Co. fell $.02 or .3 percent, to $6.52.
News Corp. rose $.04 or .2 percent, to $19.62.
Time Warner Inc. rose $.13 or .4 percent, to $34.71.
Viacom Inc. fell $.61 or 1.2 percent, to $52.26.
