Consolidated Edison Inc. Holding Co. rose $.39 or .6 percent, to $60.55.
Dominion Resources Inc. rose $.67 or 1.1 percent, to $61.05.
Duke Energy Corp. rose $.20 or .3 percent, to $71.36.
Exelon rose $.37 or 1.0 percent, to $35.16.
PG&E rose $.34 or .7 percent, to $47.22.
Southern Co. rose $.14 or .3 percent, to $46.44.
