STREET RESEARCH AND NEWS: Last November, BMO Capital upgraded Archer Daniels Midland to Outperform from Market Perform, citing the underperformance of shares near that time and expectations for the company's fundamentals to improve in the second half of 2013. The firm also raised its price target for shares to $32 from $26. In early December, Archer Daniels made a $2.9B takeover offer for Australia's GrainCorp, which GrainCorp rejected, saying it "materially undervalues" the company... PRICE ACTION: Over the last three months, Archer Daniels Midland is trading up over 6%. In midday trading ahead of the Q2 report, shares are trading down slightly to $28.50.
