This week, makers and sellers of consumer-electronics devices will begin releasing their earnings reports for the latest quarter. The reports will generally cover the July-September period, though some companies have fiscal quarters that depart from that.
Here's a schedule for selected companies that report unit sales on phones, tablet computers and other devices. Some companies including Samsung Electronics Co. do not release data on unit sales.
