Eastman Chemical named a company veteran as its new chief technology officer Monday.
Stephen Crawford began with the company since 1987 and is currently vice president of functional products technology. Crawford will make the transition at the beginning of the year. Gregory Nelson, who holds that position now, will remain with the company until March 1, when he retires.
Also starting on Jan. 1 is new CEO Mark Costa. The current chief executive, James Rogers, will become executive chairman.
Shares of Eastman Chemical Co., based in Kingsport, Tenn., slipped 19 cents to $78.92 in afternoon trading Monday.
