easygates, LLC - Bud Gates, Chairman and CEO of easygates, LLC announced the promotions of Ladd Welch and Chris Prater to Co-Presidents of easygates, LLC. They will share the office of the President with Ladd as President of Operations and Chris as President of Finance and Sales. Previously, Mr. Welch was Vice President of Operations and Mr. Prater was Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for easygates; both also worked with Mr. Gates at Rent-A-Center and THORN Americas, Inc. easygates, LLC was established in 2007 by Mr. Gates to develop both corporate and franchise stores in the $6 billion rent-to-own industry.

Mr. Welch most recently served as President of Value Place Property Management, LLC. Prior to this, he served as Vice President of Operations for Corporate Lodging. Mr. Welch also served as Division Vice President of Jiffy Lube stores and as Division Vice President for SpinCycle, LLC. Ladd started his rental career with THORN Americas from 1988 - 1997 where he held various operational roles, leaving as Regional Director.

Mr. Prater served for 9 years as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President - Finance and Administration for the International Pizza Hut Franchise Holders Association (IPHFHA), which represents all U.S. Pizza Hut franchisees. Previously, he served in various roles with THORN Americas, Inc. from 1989 - 1999. Prior to this, he was employed by PepsiCo and Pepsi Cola Bottling and Arthur Andersen and Company.
