Economic outlook tour set for later this month

University of Montana says annual economic outlook seminar will be held in 9 cities

HELENA, Mont. (AP) -- A University of Montana annual economic outlook seminar starts a nine-city tour later this month.

The university's Bureau of Business and Economic Research is hosting the event. It includes a seminar on changes coming in health care, along with providing the usual economic trends for local, state and national economies.

The bureau's economists will highlight local economic trends that focus on the state's most important sectors, such as energy, tourism, health care, agriculture, real estate, manufacturing and forest products.

The series begins in Helena on January 29th, and continues in February and March in Great Falls, Missoula, Billings, Bozeman, Butte, Kalispell, Sidney and Miles City.
