BRUSSELS, BELGIUM--(Marketwired - Aug 26, 2014) - EFMD will hold the 2014 EFMD Conference on Undergraduate Programmes in Richmond, Virginia from 13-15 October 2014, kindly hosted by the Robins School of Business, University of Richmond.
"The Robins School of Business has been a member of EFMD for 10 years and this has opened so many doors for our school in terms of international alliances, student exchanges and interaction with a pool of leading business schools from all over the world. We are delighted to host the EFMD Undergraduate conference and look forward to welcoming all the participants to the University of Richmond," said Prof. Nancy Bagranoff, Dean, Robins School of Business.
The conference theme is Undergraduate Management Education - Preparing our Students for the Journey. Topics to be discussed will include:
Challenges linked to a diverse student population - As the student population gets more and more diverse, how do you handle and manage this?
Teaching millennials - Learning styles for millennials - how does technology influence the way students learn? What is the difference in learning styles compared to other generations? Understanding how millennials think, act and react.
Evaluation & feedback - What are the best methods for providing feedback (both face-to-face and remotely)?
Employers - How do companies work with millennials and what do they expect from them? In exchange what do younger graduates expect and want from their employer?
The conference offers a highly interactive forum to share and exchange ideas whilst also providing practical tools and examples that are applicable in day-to-day life. It also provides a great networking opportunity to collaborate internationally and build your own network of Undergraduate contacts around the world. If you are involved in Undergraduate business school education this is a key annual event that you must attend.
