EnQuest PLC: Director/PDMR Shareholding

Notification of transactions by

Persons Discharging Management Responsibility ('PDMRs').

EnQuest PLC were informed on 2 May 2013, by Capita Share Plan Services, that 354,220 Ordinary shares of £0.05 each in the Company (the 'shares') previously awarded to Dr Jim Buckee (a director of the Company) under the EnQuest PLC Chairman's Award Plan at the time of the IPO, vested on 30 April 2013. Dr Jim Buckee has settled his tax liability directly to the Company, and 354,220 shares have been retained by Dr Jim Buckee.

Prior to this transaction, Dr Jim Buckee held 868,107 Shares, representing 0.11% of the share capital of the Company. The total holding of Dr Jim Buckee following the transaction is 1,222,327 shares, representing 0.15% of the share capital of the Company.

EnQuest PLC were also informed on 2 May 2013, by Capita Share Plan Services, that 8,312 shares previously granted to David Heslop (a PDMR of the Company) on 19 April 2012 under the EnQuest PLC Deferred Bonus Share Plan, vested on 30 April 2013. Of the 8,312 shares released, 3,948 shares were sold for tax purposes at a price of 129.1 pence per share, with the remaining 4,364 shares being retained by David Heslop.
