ESPN holds talks on web-based TV, Bloomberg says

ESPN, Disney's (DIS) sports network, has held talks with with companies about offering programming on a web-based TV service like those proposed by Google (GOOG), Intel (INTC), and Sony (SNE), reports Bloomberg. The report, which cites comments from ESPN president John Skipper, says Skipper declined to specify which companies ESPN has spoken with.
