EU set to approve Universal Music's $1.9B purchase of EMI, WSJ reports

On Friday, EU regulators are expected to approve Universal Music Group's (VIVHY) $1.9B acquisition of the recorded music division of British music company EMI Group Ltd.(C), but Universal will have to to sell many of EMI's record labels and their global rights, sources say, reports the Wall Street Journal.
