FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) -- A former RadioShack Corp. call center worker has been sentenced to more than six years in prison for identity theft.

Prosecutors in North Texas say Youlanda Rochelle Wright used the information to file false income tax returns and claim refunds.

A federal judge in Fort Worth on Monday sentenced Wright to 78 months in prison and ordered her to pay more than $166,000 in restitution. Wright in December pleaded guilty to making false claims against the U.S. and identity theft.

Records show Wright worked for the Fort Worth-based electronics retailer and had access to personal information of customers. She was fired in February 2007 for unauthorized use of customer information.
