CINCINNATI, OH--(Marketwire - Feb 19, 2013) - Handyman Connection, North America's original home improvement specialists, had a lot to be happy about during their annual conference this past month. In addition to recanting the success that the company received this year via Qualified Remodeler; Handyman Connection, North America's trusted handyman company with 84 different franchise territories that specialize in small to medium home improvements, repairs, and remodeling had a number of awards to give out to individual franchisees as well.
Qualified Remodeler is the preeminent publication for contractors who specialize in residential and light commercial remodeling and Handyman Connection pulled in top honors in the category of "Best Handyman." Out of 500 remodeling firms included on the list, Handyman Connection ranked 14th overall.
Highlights of the many major awards that were handed out at the annual conference included the best Net Promoter® Score, the Market Penetration Award, and Franchisee of the Year.
Kate Meadows, owner of the Delaware Valley Handyman Connection in Pennsylvania, was the winner of the highest Net Promoter® Score (NPS).According to Handyman Connection, NPS is now the worldwide standard for organizations to measure, understand, and improve their customer experience, and it is the key to driving Handyman Connection's loyalty and growth. NPS is based on the fundamental perspective that every company's customers can be divided into three categories: Promoters, Passives, and Detractors. The NPS score is based on the question, "On a scale of 0-10, how likely are you to recommend Handyman Connection to a friend or colleague?"
The Market Penetration Award went to Steve McCoy of Colorado Springs. Steve has continued to serve the Colorado Springs community for over eight extraordinary years.
The Franchisee of the Year award was bestowed on the husband and wife duo out of NW Arkansas, David and Patty Hatfield. The Franchisee of the Year is determined using a Combined Quality Score (Customer Experience Rating and NPS), Sales, Market Penetration, and Participation in the System.
Closing the 2012 calendar year on such a high note with the honors from Qualified Remodeler and a ranking at #327 in Entrepreneur Magazine's 2013 Franchise 500, Handyman Connection continues to pick up speed in 2013 and hopes to improve on their 76th place ranking of the 500 Fastest Growing Franchises in 2012.
