FAA to Boeing: Inspect 767s

The Federal Aviation Administration ordered inspections of Boeing 767 jetliners, citing possible problems with rivet failures or jams that can affect the plane's ability to climb or descend. The FAA said in a notice the failure could result in loss of control of the airplane. The problem hasn't been named as having caused any major difficulties in the 767, one of the most widely used jetliners in the world. Boeing said it's working with the FAA on evaluating any potential safety issues. Boeing (BA) shares rose 0.5%.
