NEW YORK (AP) -- Shares of some top coal companies were up at the close of trading:
Arch Coal rose $.05 or 1.0 percent, to $5.01.
Consol Energy Inc. rose $.33 or 1.0 percent, to $33.97.
Peabody Energy rose $.07 or .3 percent, to $20.21.
It will take years for the current monetary policy environment to deteriorate from near perfect conditions today …
