NEW YORK (AP) -- Shares of some top consumer companies were mixed at the close of trading:

Clorox rose $.40 or .6 percent, to $69.59.

Colgate-Palmolive Co. fell $.33 or .3 percent, to $98.80.

Kimberly-Clark Corp. rose $.25 or .3 percent, to $79.46.

Procter & Gamble Co. fell $.08 or .1 percent, to $62.49.
