NEW YORK (AP) -- Shares of some top credit card companies were up at the close of trading:
American Express Co. rose $1.09 or 1.5 percent, to $73.32.
Capital One Financial Corp. rose $1.68 or 2.8 percent, to $60.83.
Discover Financial Services rose $1.22 or 2.6 percent, to $47.70.
Mastercard rose $14.64 or 2.6 percent, to $584.78.
Visa Inc. rose $4.77 or 2.7 percent, to $184.57.
